Walk Circumspectly!

I Timothy 1:5  "For our gospel came not unto you in word only, but also in power, and in the Holy Ghost, and in much assurance; as ye know what manner of men we were among you for your sake."

Paul addresses the Christians at Thessalonica reminding them of the nature of the Gospel that they brought unto them and the demonstration of that Gospel.  Paul, Silvanus and Timotheus had all ministered to the Christians there.  Paul reminded the Christians that the Gospel they brought wasn't only in word, but in a consistent walk.  A Christian walk that was carried out by the power of the Holy Ghost.

When we live a consistent God-honoring Christian life, it assures other that the message of the Gospel is a legitimate message.  It is a message that has the power to absolutely change lives.  The message of the Gospel, that we carry, must be backed up by a circumspect walk.  Our actions often speak so loudly that people can't hear what we say.  If we live a life that honors God then people will believe the message we bring.  Does your life reinforce the message that you carry?  Are there some areas that you need to get right with God?  First walk the walk, then talk the talk!
