There are approximately eight billion people on planet earth. God commanded us in His Word to go into all the world and preach the Gospel to every creature. On the face of it, it seems a monumental task, a task that is too great for us to accomplish. How can we carry the Gospel, the good news of Jesus Christ into all the world? God tells us to pray to the Lord of the Harvest. God is the Lord of the Harvest, apart from Him and His power we can accomplish nothing. If God doesn't accompany us, then the mission truly is futile. God alone can convict the heart of sinful man and make him realize his need for a Saviour. God uses us as labourers to carry the message, we preach the Gospel and the Holy Spirit draws men unto the Father. We are to pray for the Lord of the Harvest to send forth labourers into his harvest. There is a world to reach and our time is growing short. Pray for God to send labourers to carry the Gospel to the uttermost part of the earth!
